David I have gone round and round with this very subject. Hire someone for original content and I end up rewriting also. I have a huge problem, people just don't write what I want to say.

Duplicate content is a subject that keeps coming up. as a rule of thumb don't worry about it unless it is on your site, or there are hundreds of the same thing that are back-linked to you. I don't see you as a scrapper though.

Great being here.

Thanks Brad. My main reason for this post was an experiment in public domain re-writing. I wanted to see if it was worth doing, if there was a reason anyone might want to do that instead of trying to create their own articles and ideas - frankly it was as much work as to create it from scratch in my opinion, and I will probably stick with writing my own stuff, but it was interesting.

There is a ton of public domain stuff out there and many people who are rewriting it and re-selling it. Some are doing quite well, but I just don't think that is for me personally.

OK David it took me twice through to make sure that I got the message. A hand less clock is kind if useless and there are many variations of hands to use. Some less offensive or subtle than others. Personally I am using a digital clock.

Great post to stimulate imagination and some great thought.
Thanks
