I was getting ready to start a blog to talk to people about some of the most basic SEO pointers, but it looks like you covered them right here. Excellent explanation. When do you cover link building? I will send my clients here for a clear description – “This, Mr. Client, is why we do it the way we do it…”

So many businesses with relevant sites don’t get seen because they don’t know how to tell the search engines that they are relevant. It’s no secret, it’s not rocket science. Get these basics completed and you might be surprised at what happens. And for goodness’ sake, don’t use a web designer who doesn’t know this stuff!

Thanks homebreware – never heard of that browser. I try to get things working for IE, FireFox, Chrome, and Safari in that order, however I downloaded the K-melon browser and I see it is based on the geko engine, same as Firefox. I see no weirdness from here, everything looks good. I am using the latest versions of everything. Not sure what is going on with your setup.
